Talking about the last month of October, Hero MotoCorp sold the highest number of two-wheelers in the country at 4,54,582. Its sales have registered a decline of 17 percent year-on-year. While 4,42,825 units were sold in its domestic market, the remaining 11,757 units were exported to other countries. Both used to do business together. But, now both are rivals of each other. Both sell well. Both these companies are the largest two-wheeler sellers in the country.
The company sold 4,25,969 units in the domestic market while the remaining 23,422 units were exported to other countries. Honda total sales stood at 4,32,207 units in the same period last year. The company’s domestic sales and exports stood at 3,94,623 and 37,584 units respectively in October 2021. For Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), it sold 4,49,391 two-wheelers in the month of October 2022, showing a year-on-year growth of 3.9 per cent.

In fact, its total sales in September 2022 were 5,18,559 units, which declined to 4,49,391 units in October 2022. On MoM (month-on-month) basis, Honda two-wheeler India sales declined by 13.3 percent.

On MoM (month-on-month) basis, Hero MotoCorp sales were down 12.5 per cent in October 2022. The company had sold 5,19,980 units in September 2022, which declined to 4,54,582 units in October 2022. Hero MotoCorp’s total sales in the same period last year (October 2021) stood at 5,47,910 units. The company’s domestic sales and exports stood at 5,27,779 and 20,191 units respectively in October 2021.
